The Development and Policies Research Center (Depocen) hosts a training course on“General equilibrium” analysis by Prof. Le Van Cuong – Research Director at FrenchNational Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne.
The lecturer is part of the annual summer lecture series led by Prof. Cuong Le Van since 2008 with various topics in economics and applied mathematics in economics.
Key topics include:
1. Pure Exchange Economy (existence of equilibrium, efficiency)
2. General Equilibrium With Production (Existence, efficiency)
3. Disequilibrium theory ( Keynesian, classical situations)
4. Equilibrium in an open economy
5. Intertemporal economy with cash in advance

The participants are mainly researchers; lecturer and PhD students from the leading Universities; Research Centers and Government agencies in Hanoi. Some PhD students from France and the US took part into the training.
