Kirby Prickett will be joining DEPOCEN from Brisbane, Australia where she has been working as an economic consultant with the firm Marsden Jacob Associates. Prior to this she worked at the Australian Treasury. Kirby has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Queensland, and is halfway through a Masters of Government and Commercial Law at the Australian National University.
Many aspects of economics and public policy interest Kirby. She has recently contributed to projects in the areas of natural resource management and social policy and has previously enjoyed working on development economics issues.
Kirby enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing social sport and reading. She also likes travelling to new places and looks forward to her year in Vietnam.
